As a descendant of a Choctaw Freedman, I have seen how the rights promised in 1866 were limited by exclusion and delay. Some Nations have acted. Others have not. The promises were written. The rights were not fully honored. This work exists to keep that history visible and the pressure public.
Honor The Treaty Collection
The Honor the Treaty Collection was created to bring visibility to the promises made in the Treaties of 1866 and the rights still being withheld from Freedmen descendants. Built around awareness, accountability, and treaty justice, each piece is designed to spark conversation, apply pressure, and keep the language of the treaty in plain sight. From everyday wear to daily use, this collection carries the reminder that what was promised in writing should be honored in practice.
